We believe the DPCA has done a wonder job promoting our breed but unfortunately due to the public media, there is still a stigma that Dobermans are a vicious breed. Recently there has been a trend to rough coated dogs without a double coat. My first time showing a dog was with a harl bitch. Chess always showed exceptionally well, and it surprised us when on one occasion he began to misbehave in the ring in front of the judge.
